Get Involved

Bring It On! Youth Festival is completely free for all young people aged 12-24 to enter, have fun and enjoy some live music, sports, games and rides with mates.

Want to get even more involved? There's also plenty of opportunities to get involved with Bring It On! leading up to the big day itself! Bring It On! is more than an event, it's a platform for young people!

For Young People:

Workshops

Our annual creative skills workshops run for 5-weeks leading up to the festival in areas such as photography, videography, podcasting and other media skills. You'll learn both technical skills and soft skills from Western Sydney artists as you practice with industry gear and get a taste of what it's like preparing for a professional gig.

Bring It On! Workshops are now full. Come to Bring It On! to see our media crews in action!

Volunteering

Apply for the Bring It On! Event Volunteer Crew! Open to young people aged 14-24. Get experience behind-the-scenes at an event or just giving back to your community. All volunteers will be provided event and safety training before the event, and we will try to match you up with the area you are most interested in.

This year, we are asking all applicants to send us a short blurb about why they want to be part of the event! Please include this answer in the online application as we'll be using this to select our final crew.

You must be available on Sunday 19 April for the event, plus for our 3 Volunteer Training sessions on Thursdays 2, 9 and 16 April, 5:30pm-8pm

Spaces are limited! Applications close on 25 March or when places run out - so get in quick!

Volunteer applications for our 2026 crew have now closed! If you applied, please check your email for updates.

Performers

Expressions of interest (or "EOIs") for Bring It On! performers are now open! We're calling on musicians, bands, dancers and other stage arts. Priority will be given to young artists (aged 12-25) from Fairfield City or Western Sydney. To apply, please send us details of your act and a link to a video or social media. As a youth-led event, our final list of performers will be selected alongside our Youth Working Group.

Bring It On! is proud to provide a platform for young artists to perform in their hometown - if you're a young Western Sydney artist, we'd love to hear from you.

Closing Tuesday 17 March

Performer applications are now closed! Check out our artists at Bring It On! Youth Festival on Sunday 19 April.

Food Vendor EOI

Food Vendor EOIs are now closed! If you're waiting to hear back from us please email youth@fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au. Otherwise, we hope to see you join us next time.

As this is a youth-focused event, we aim to include food vendors that offer accessible and youth-friendly menu options. Local vendors and businesses who can offer affordable options may be prioritised.

Market Stall EOI

We are looking for small businesses selling market items (e.g. craft, stickers, art) to join us at Bring It On!

Local vendors are prioritised. Young people operating a market stall are also encouraged to apply! If you are just starting out and are not registered as a business, we may be able to provide support.
